"Belgium" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Antwerp Cathedral, Plains of Waterloo and Altar of St.Gudule in Brussels. Good condition. Size 34 x 26 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G1973
