"To Joseph Pitt Esq, MP. Plan of the Pump Room, Pittville Spa ... on his Estate near Cheltenham ..." engraved by T.Radclyffe, published in Griffith's History of Cheltenham, 1826. Copper engraved map with recent hand colour. An interesting map showing the intended layout of Pittville Park. I believe the money ran out before many of the houses could be built. Very good condition. Size 17 x 24 cms. Ref E692

Copper engraved map with recent hand colouring. The old horse-drawn plate-way (precursor of the railways) can be seen running between Gloucester and Cheltenham. One (flattened) horizontal fold as published. Good condition with good margins. Size 29 x 32 cms. Ref E681
