"View near Washbourne, Gloucestershire" drawn and engraved by J.Bluck, published by F.Jukes, Howland Street, London, in May 1802. Very scarce sepia aquatint, with plate mark and good margins, printed on Whatman paper. Faults - noticeably creased and soiled, closed tear of about 2 cms in sky area. Size 29 x 22 cms to plate mark. One of the earliest private banks in England, founded in 1716. James (Jemmy) Wood, who took over in 1802, became well known, even being depicted on Toby Jugs but he was best known for his amazing meanness. Trimmed to image edges. Size 19 x 27 cms.
