Lake District view, original chalk & watercolour, 1846. [ View in the Lake District ] original chalk & watercolour, from the sketchbook of an unknown but skillful artist, dated Sept 6th 1846. Cut to the image border and tabbed down on an old album page. The date was lower right on the album page but was cut out and stuck to the back of an old frame, hence the missing piece below the image. Not signed as far as I can see. Good condition. Size 17 x 12 cms plus album page margins. Ref H2041
