Large steel engraved map with original hand colour, centrefold as published, good margins with full plate mark. Slight creasing down fold, otherwise very good condition. Size 50 x 38 cms plus title and margins. Ref E5044

"A New and Correct Map of France" anonymous engraver, published in Mr.Tindal's continuation of Mr. Rapin's History of England, about 1745. Copper engraved map with recent hand colour. Some creasing and small tears, close trimmed to left margin with loss of neatline, re-edged with new line, laid down on archival tissue. Size 38 x 30 cms. Ref E4874

Centrefold plus one other vertical fold to the right side, as published. Plate mark and good margins. Size of engraved area 72 x 51 cms. Closed split to lower 8 cms of centrefold, extending 6 cms into image area. Slight soiling and dampstain to upper corners.
