Steel engraved antique print, with recent hand colour. Good condition. Size 14.5 x 22.5 cms including all text, plus margins. Ref H5897
Egypt, Alexandria Plan, about 1740. "A Plans of Alexandria" anonymous engraver, published in a history of Egypt, about 1740. Dedicated to William Earl of Harrington. Copper engraved plan with recent hand colour, showing the city walls and main roads. Re-deged to upper left corner (no loss), otherwise very good condition. Size 40 x 19 cms plus good margins. Ref H5896
Liverpool, large detailed Plan, 1836. "Liverpool and its Environs including the Cheshire Coast". Surveyed and drawn by H. Austen and engraved by B.R. Davies, published in Lancashire Illustrated, 1831. Large and very detailed steel engraved plan. Several flattened folds, slight soiling and offsetting, several small holes (about 1-3 mm) at fold intersections and chipped margins. One large closed tear of about 10 cms into left side (no loss.) On thin paper. Size 53 x 44 cms including title, plus margins. ** Please note my image is a digital photo so not as detailed as a scan. Further images available on request. Ref H5895
Medals of William & Mary, set of 10 prints, 1789. "Medals of King William and Queen Mary" set of ten copper engraved prints published by Harrison in The History of England, 1789. Mostly good condition, some with slight soiling or tatty margins (please see my photo.) Size of each page 26 x 43 cms. Ref H5894
China, Lake Pao-Yng and Grand Canal, after Alexander, 1796. "View of the Lake Pao - Yng where it is separated from the Grand Canal by an embankment of Earth" etched and engraved by William Byrne after a picture by William Alexander, published in Staunton's An Authentic Account of an Embassy from the King of Great Britain to the Emperor of China, 1796. Large copper plate etching with recent hand colour. Two (flattened) vertical folds as published, also loss of about 5 cms trimmed from upper edge of print by publishers, Partial plate mark. Good condition apart from faults mentioned. Size 47 x 28 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H5893
