"A New Map of Ireland" copper engraved map by J.Bayly, published by Harrison & Co. in The Geographical Magazine ...., 1793 (map dated 1784). Recent hand colour. One small repaired hole (about 2mm), otherwise good condition. Size 22.5 x 32 cms, plus margins with full plate mark. Ref G2980

Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes show St.Patrick's in Dublin, Limerick Castle, Holy Well, Ross Castle on Lake of Killarney and a Round Tower in Wicklow. Good condition. Size 24 x 35 cms including decorative border, plus good margins. Ref G1952
